Senso Technics develops Monorail Systems tailored to the capacity, available space and laundry flow of your operation. From buffering incoming soiled linen and supplying the Sorting System or Tunnel Washers to transporting clean linen towards finishing equipment.

With SensoSuite, transport movements, buffer positions and batch information are brought together in one central environment. This gives operators continuous insight into the laundry flow and the current status of the Monorail System.

From incoming soiled linen to clean-side transport

Monorail Systems can be used at different stages of the laundry process for automated transport and buffering. Depending on where the system is used, it supports the flow of linen before sorting, between sorting and washing, or after the drying process.

Senso Technics develops Monorail Systems for three main areas: D1 for pre-sorting incoming linen, D2 for buffering sorted soiled linen before washing, and D3 for transporting clean linen towards finishing equipment.

Each system is designed around the required capacity, available space and flow of your laundry.

D1 Monorail System

Pre-sorting of incoming soiled linen

A D1 Monorail System is used before the actual sorting process. Incoming laundry bags are transferred directly into the Monorail System, where they can be temporarily buffered before sorting.

This keeps bags and carts off the production floor, creating more space and a better organised sorting area. When required, the bags are automatically released from the buffer and supplied to the Sorting System.

The result is a controlled and continuous flow of incoming linen towards the sorting process.

D2 Monorail System

Storage of sorted soiled linen before washing

A D2 Monorail System is used on the soil side after the sorting process. Sorted laundry bags are stored in storage lines until they are required for the washing process.

When the Tunnel Washer is ready for the next batch, the correct laundry bag is automatically retrieved from the storage line and transported to the Tunnel Washer.

This creates an efficient flow between sorting and washing, ensuring that the right batches are available at the right time and helping to make optimal use of the available Tunnel Washer capacity.

D3 Monorail System

Storage and transport of clean linen

A D3 Monorail System is used on the clean side after the drying process. Clean linen is transferred from the Dryers into laundry bags and stored in storage lines until it is required for further processing.

When a finishing machine is ready, the correct laundry bag is automatically retrieved from the storage line. Based on the article and destination, the linen is transported to the appropriate machine, such as a towel folder or Ironer.

Especially in larger laundries, the D3 Monorail System provides substantial storage capacity between drying and finishing. This creates a controlled flow of clean linen and ensures that the right batch reaches the right finishing process at the right time.

Control & SensoSuite

Smart storage, routing and batch tracking

The control system coordinates the movement of laundry bags throughout the Monorail System. Based on batch information, destination and the status of connected machines, each bag is automatically stored in the correct storage line and retrieved when it is needed.

SensoSuite provides operators with a clear overview of the Monorail System, including storage positions, batch information and the current flow of laundry bags. This makes it easy to see where a batch is located and where it needs to go next.

By connecting the Monorail System with Sorting Systems, Tunnel Washers, Dryers and finishing equipment, control and information come together in one integrated laundry process.

Retrofit & Expansion

Not every Monorail System needs to be completely replaced. Senso Technics modernises and expands existing systems, carefully assessing which components can remain in use and where upgrades are needed.
