Smart infeed voor Robin van Laundry Robotics
At a laundry in the Netherlands, new Robins from Laundry Robotics have recently been installed. These intelligent robots automatically feed towels into the folding machines, regardless of brand or type. An innovative step toward greater efficiency and less manual handling in the laundry.
To ensure the terry towels reach the Robins smoothly, Senso Technics was asked to design and implement a new infeed system. The goal: a reliable, seamless supply perfectly aligned with Laundry Robotics’ advanced technology.
Our engineering team designed a completely new conveyor system, consisting of multiple belts with photo sensors, safety switches, junction boxes and motor control. Everything is integrated into our own SensoSuite control system, giving operators full visibility and intuitive control over the entire process. 
Thanks to this smart control, the conveyors connect seamlessly to the Robins. Towels are automatically fed, correctly positioned, and continuously transferred — without operator intervention. This makes the work in the laundry not only lighter but also more consistent. It increases production speed while maintaining constant quality and reducing downtime.
For Senso Technics and Laundry Robotics, this project is a great example of how innovation and practical experience reinforce each other.
