New Soil Side Monorail System at Leimeister

New Soil Side Monorail System at Leimeister

At Wasserij Leimeister in Rodelmeier, Germany, Senso Technics and Dunnewolt supplied a new D2-820 Soil Side Monorail System. The installation combines seven storage lines , an Express Line and Gematex Belt Conveyors. It also transports soiled linen to two Tunnel Washers.

With SensoSuite and the integrated SensoSuite Sorting Module, the Monorail System, Gematex Belt Sorting System and visualization come together in one control environment.

Seven Storage Lines and an Express Line

Efficient handling of soiled linen is essential for a continuous laundry process. Therefore, the new Soil Side Monorail System at Leimeister includes seven Storage Lines and an Express Line.

The Storage Lines provide temporary storage for soiled linen. Meanwhile, the Express Line offers a fast transport route within the system.

The Gematex Belt Conveyors are also part of the installation. Together, these components ensure a coordinated supply of soiled linen to both Tunnel Washers.

Soiled Linen Transport to Two Tunnel Washers

The D2-820 Monorail System transports soiled linen to two Tunnel Washers. It unloads the linen above the machines, connecting the Soil side transport system directly to the washing process.

Reliable coordination between transport, buffering and sorting is essential. As a result, the different components work together while operators maintain a clear overview of the linen supply.SensoSuite Visualization and Sorting ModuleSensoSuite werkstation

Senso Technics integrated the visualization of the Soil Side Monorail System and the Gematex Belt Sorting System into SensoSuite. This gives operators a clear overview of both systems from one interface.

SensoSuite Visualization and Sorting Module

In addition, the SensoSuite Sorting Module supports the sorting process. The module automatically assigns incoming soiled linen to the correct customer. An adjustable sorting mask guides operators through the process and simplifies daily sorting activities.

The workstation displays relevant information, including customer names, article names and weight values. SensoSuite also shows the current status of each sorting position.

This integration brings sorting, transport and visualization together in one solution. Consequently, operators can work more efficiently while maintaining a clear overview of the sorting process.

Cooperation with Dunnewolt

Senso Technics completed this project together with Dunnewolt. The combination of transport technology, automation and software forms the foundation of the new Soil side installation at Leimeister.

With integrated transport system controls and visualization, the laundry has a modern solution for handling, buffering and sorting soiled linen.

From the Gematex Belt Sorting System to the Monorail System above the Tunnel Washers, SensoSuite connects the entire process.
