SensoSuite for Diamant Linen in Ireland
At Diamant Linen in Ireland, Senso Technics supplied a complete SensoSuite control system for the Kannegiesser laundry installation on behalf of Goudkuil. SensoSuite connects all machines and transport systems into one integrated process.
The installation includes a Step Conveyor, Kannegiesser Tunnel Washer, Kannegiesser Press, Shuttle and Kannegiesser gas Dryers. In addition, SensoSuite controls the Unloading Conveyors behind the Dryers.
Different machines in an industrial laundry need to work together seamlessly. Each batch passes through several process stages. Therefore, reliable communication between the machines and transport systems is essential.
At Diamant Linen, Senso Technics integrated the different components within SensoSuite. As a result, one control system manages the complete process, from linen infeed to unloading the Dryers.
The Step Conveyor feeds the linen to the Kannegiesser Tunnel Washer. After washing, each batch moves to the Kannegiesser Press. The Shuttle then transports the batch to the correct Dryer. Finally, the Unloading Conveyors transport the linen to the next stage of the process.
SensoSuite gives operators a central overview of the installation and the current linen flow. The control system tracks the batches throughout the process and coordinates the different process stages.
As a result, SensoSuite enables the Step Conveyor, Tunnel Washer, Press, Shuttle, Dryers and transport systems to operate as one integrated laundry installation.
This coordination plays an important role in reliable production. It reduces unnecessary waiting times and supports an efficient and continuous linen flow.
Senso Technics completed this project on behalf of Goudkuil. Within the project, we supplied the automation and integration for the Kannegiesser laundry installation at Diamant Linen.
